Amy Kann lives and works in Philadelphia. Her sculpture is part of the permanent collections of The Smithsonian Museum, The British Museum, The Brookgreen Gardens Museum, The McNay Museum, The National Sculpture Society and The American Numismatic Society. Her work has been exhibited in the Pennsylvania Academy of Art Museum, the Woodmere Museum, the Pennsylvania State Museum and the Brookgreen Gardens Museum. She is the Vice President of the National Sculpture Society in NYC. She is represented by the Shay Graham Gallery in NYC and The Cheryl Newby Gallery in SC. In 2012, she was chosen for the Rainey Master Sculptor Residency at the Brookgreen Gardens Museum. Her numerous private and public commissions include those from The Brookgreen Gardens Museum, The American Numismatic Society, The Beckman Institute, The Green Wood Cemetery, Seigel and Gale, Jane Bryant Quinn, David Landsberg and Ted Tally. She is the recipient of the Alex J Ettl Grant for Sculpture from the National Sculpture Society. Articles about her work have been written in American Art Collector, Sculpture Review, International Artist and ANS the American Numismatic Society. Her numerous awards include Best in Show, First Place and Second Place Awards from The Portrait Society of America, The Gold and Bronze Medals from National Sculpture Society, the First Place Award for Sculpture from the Salmagundi Club, The Second Place Award from The Pennsylvania State Museum along with many awards from the National Sculpture Society, Allied Artists of America, The Red River Museum, The Audubon Society and the Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Society. Amy is currently working on a large scale bas-relief commission for the All Souls Church in NYC.
